Hung-Wen Mischnick (陳紅文)

 Hung-Wen Mischnick (before Hung-Wen Chen) studied contemporary dance at the Folkwang Universität der Künste and at the Taiwan national University of Arts. She successfully completed her studies with a bachelor of art degree. Since 2010, she is a permanent member of the dance company Volkstheater Rostock as choreographer and dancer.

 

Besides her activities at the Rostock Theater, she is releasing projects on her own. Her duet "V.V.V. (Veni vidi vici)" got a recognition award at the "no Ballet“ 8th international choreography competition Ludwigshafen, followed by an invitation at the 5th international dance gala in Graz and at the 2014 Ballettgala of Kiel. The same year, her work "Body's Corner with Dialogue Puzzle" was shown at the SoloDuo festival in Cologne and at the “Internationales Tanztheater Festival” in Erfurt. In 2015,

her solo performance "Talk with Coffer" was awarded with the “the best performance of dancer” price at the SOLOCOREOGRAFICO in Italy Turin. This piece was also shown at the 17th international solo-dance-theatre festival in Stuttgart.

And the other solo piece “RENEW” won the third place at the VI Contemporary Dance and Performing Arts Festival (Costa Contemporánea) in Spain.
